SORKI Moot Court Fellowship

The SORKI Moot Court Fellowship is an intensive and comprehensive program designed to provide law students with practical experience in oral advocacy and brief writing skills. The program creates a dynamic learning environment by transforming the courtroom into a classroom, enabling participants to assume the role of advocates and engage in simulated legal battles. The program incorporates a range of tools, including workshops, career talks, practice sessions, networking events, and a final moot court competition, to enhance participants’ legal skills, foster collaboration, and create a platform for professional development. Participants will have the chance to develop their advocacy skills and learn from experienced legal professionals. They will also gain valuable insights into the legal system and build a professional network.

Program Objectives

  • Develop Oral Advocacy Skills: Participants will enhance their ability to construct persuasive arguments, deliver effective oral presentations, and engage in courtroom advocacy through training sessions and practice simulations.
  • Enhance Brief Writing Skills: Participants will strengthen their legal research and writing abilities by engaging in brief writing exercises, receiving feedback from mentors, and learning best practices in crafting compelling legal arguments.
